Cleveland Social Media Club
The Cleveland chapter of the Social Media Club was founded in September 2008 for the purpose of sharing best practices, establishing ethics and standards, and for promoting media literacy. Our almost 700 members include social media veterans experienced in using social media in public relations, customer service and marketing, novices ready to learn more and everyone in between.
Whether you're just curious about social media or a social media power user, these days you'll find social [media] people almost everywhere you turn on the Internet—on social networks like Ning, Facebook, MySpace, and LinkedIn as well as media sharing sites such as Flickr, Last.FM and YouTube. We blog, podcast, share photos and videos photos, tweet on Twitter and much more.
If you live in, or have connections to, northeast Ohio and want to connect online—and in person—with others interested in social media and the Internet, join us at the Cleveland Social Media Club. We look forward to meeting you.
